Privacy Policy

2. What information we collect

We collect two kinds of information: personal information (information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to an individual) and non-personal information (aggregated or technical data that does not identify you). We collect personal information in three ways:

  • Information you provide voluntarily — your name, work email address, company, role, and message content when you book a demo, contact us, download a guide or template, run an assessment or calculator, subscribe to updates, or register for a pilot. Our free tools may also process the answers you choose to enter; enter only information you are comfortable sharing.
  • Information collected automatically — IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, and interactions, collected through cookies and similar technologies described in Section 11.
  • Information from other sources — publicly available business information (for example your company website or LinkedIn profile) and information from our partners or data providers, used to verify and enrich Business Engagement records.

3. Why we collect it

  • To operate the Website and provide the resources, tools, and assessments you request.
  • To respond to demo requests, pilot requests, and support and sales enquiries, and to manage Business Engagements.
  • To send you the communications you signed up for — resource deliveries, product updates, and marketing you can opt out of at any time (Section 12).
  • To understand aggregate usage of the Website so we can improve content, navigation, and performance.
  • To prevent, detect, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents affecting the Website or our services.
  • To comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, and establish or defend legal claims.

4. Lawful grounds for processing

Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar laws apply, we process personal information on at least one of the following bases:

  • Consent — for marketing communications and non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.
  • Performance of a contract — to deliver services you or your organisation have requested, including trials and pilots.
  • Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve the Website, to communicate with business contacts about relevant products, and to grow our business, balanced against your rights and expectations.
  • Legal obligation — where processing is required to comply with law.

5. Where your information is stored, and international transfers

We are a globally operated company with entities and service providers in the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and the European Economic Area. Personal information collected through the Website is stored primarily on infrastructure located in the United States and the EEA.

Where personal information is transferred out of the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, together with supplementary technical and organisational measures.

6. Who we share information with, and why

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers acting on our instructions — hosting and content delivery, database and storage, email delivery, form and lead management, scheduling, video hosting, and analytics providers. Each is bound by contract to process personal information only for the services they provide to us.
  • Our affiliates and personnel — on a need-to-know basis, to operate the services described in this policy.
  • Professional advisers — lawyers, auditors, accountants, and insurers where necessary.
  • Law enforcement and authorities — where required by law or valid legal process. We pursue the narrowest disclosure available and, where lawful, will notify you.
  • Corporate transactions — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to the transferred information and we will notify affected individuals of material changes.

We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you — for example, aggregate content statistics — for any lawful purpose.

7. What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent personal information.
  • We do not use customer prompt or response content to train models — ours or anyone else’s.
  • We do not use customer content for any purpose outside the contracted service.
  • We do not serve third-party advertising on the Website.

8. Platform data (customer content)

When an enterprise customer deploys AccuroAI, the content their users and agents send through the platform — prompts, responses, tool calls, file context, and related metadata — is processed on the customer’s behalf and under the customer’s instructions, as set out in the subscription agreement and data processing addendum between us and the customer. For that content, the customer is the controller and AccuroAI is a processor.

If you are an employee or agent-user of an AccuroAI customer and have questions about how your organisation configures inspection, redaction, retention, or access, please contact your organisation’s administrator; their policies govern that processing. Our sub-processor list and security documentation are available on request and on our security page.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you, and receive a copy.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Delete your personal information.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Port your information to another provider in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first — contact us at privacy@accuroai.co.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@accuroai.co with "DSR Request" in the subject line. We verify requests before acting on them and respond within the timelines required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10. Additional disclosures for U.S. state residents

Residents of California and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and port personal information, and to opt out of "sales", "sharing", and certain targeted advertising.

In the preceding 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 2 (identifiers, professional information, internet activity) for the purposes in Section 3, from the sources in Section 2, and disclosed them to the service-provider categories in Section 6. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit. We honor opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control for the browser you use them in.

11. Cookies and similar technologies

We use first-party cookies and similar technologies (local storage, pixels) in three categories: strictly necessary (site operation and security), functional (remembering your preferences), and analytics (understanding aggregate usage). Analytics cookies are set by a small number of providers acting on our behalf.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them; strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled without affecting the Website. For interest-based advertising choices generally, see aboutads.info/choices (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU). Disabling cookies may limit parts of the Website.

12. Direct marketing

We send marketing emails only about our own products, research, and events. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link that takes effect promptly; you can also opt out by emailing privacy@accuroai.co. Transactional messages — such as delivering a resource you requested or responding to your enquiry — are not affected by a marketing opt-out.

13. Minors

The Website and our services are intended for business users and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact privacy@accuroai.co and we will delete it.

14. Information security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, and destruction — including encryption in transit, access controls on a need-to-know basis, logging, and vendor security review. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law. Details of our security program are at accuroai.co/security.

15. Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy: for Business Engagements, for the life of the relationship and a reasonable period after; for marketing contacts, until you opt out or after a period of inactivity; for legal and accounting records, as required by law. When retention ends we delete or irreversibly de-identify the information. Retention of platform customer content is governed by the customer’s subscription agreement, not this policy.

16. Job candidates

If you apply to work with us, we process the information in your application — CV, contact details, links you share, and interview notes — to evaluate your candidacy and comply with employment law. We retain candidate information for a limited period after a process concludes, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or agree to be considered for future roles.

17. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. For material changes we will provide prominent notice on the Website and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Your continued use of the Website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
